Tycho playing Hours last night at the Music Hall of Williamsburg. The rest of their set was just as great. Shot this video on my iPhone.

Philip Glass turns 75 tomorrow. Impossible, you say? Given his two dozen operas, reams of orchestral music, virtually uncountable film scores and scads of projects in every discipline, isn’t he like 90 or 100 or 110? Or, judging by his kaleidoscopic connections and collaborators, isn’t he somewhere between 20 and 50, hunkered down among hipsters and plotting his next move toward musical world domination? Hear our essential Glass playlist.

This guy is just awesome, if you don’t believe me listen to Music in Twelve Parts. Perfect music for reading or enjoying a nice stroll through the city.

We are thrilled, excited and proud to announce that Carrot Creative now has launched a second office in Dubai with a satellite office in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Carrot is now the First INTERNATIONAL Social Media Agency!

I don’t think it’s any secret that I have a huge Carrot crush.

It’s funny, because I discovered the agency in a somewhat round about way. I happened to follow a few people on twitter/tumblr, (Will, Alexis, Chris) because I loved their blogs and they honestly just seemed like cool people. I read along, “liked” probably way too many of their posts. But it wasn’t until a few months went by that I realized, wait a minute- all these awesome people know each other, and work together… at Carrot Creative.

Shortly thereafter I met up with Chris. Not only was/is he just as cool of a person in real life, but he told me the story of how he, Mike, and Rob started the agency, grew from their small office in CT, put together an amazing team, and got to where they are today. I’ve never been to the actual office which (judging by the views I’ve seen on Instagram) looks amazing, but the one thing that really stuck out was their community.

You can’t help but cheer Carrot on. From every new account they win, to the awesome apps they continue to develop, it fundamentally makes me happy to see them achieve and grow. I’d say part of this gratification comes from watching good things happen to good people. But more accurately, I think it’s truly fulfilling to see such awesome people produce incredible work, and enjoy it.

Anyway, I can’t believe I wrote this love letter to a company that, for all intents and purposes, I actually have nothing to do with. But basically I just wanted to say, congrats you guys! I know great things are in store!

This was just beautiful. Couldn’t have said it better myself.
